Timberlake revealed he’s getting back to his music roots in a video posted on YouTube and on the website Countdown.JustinTimberlake.com. “Someone asked me the other day, ‘So, are you just done? With music?’  [But] it means more to me than anybody else in the world,” he says. “Look, I’ve only done two albums in ten years.  That’s the way I really look at it: what does the next decade mean for me?”

Then, Timberlake steps into the studio, goes up to the microphone and tells an unseen person, “I’m ready.” A countdown clock posted with the video suggests that we’ll be hearing something from JT in just over three days.

Meanwhile, Beyonce took to Facebook to announce that she, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams are working on a Destiny’s Child compilation album, Love Songs, which will feature the new song “Nuclear.” It will also feature songs the pop trio recorded between 1997 and 2004, including “Cater 2 U,” “Say My Name” and “Emotion.”

“I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years!” Beyonce wrote. The album will drop Jan. 29 —  just in time for Valentine’s Day.
