(NEW YORK) — After a busy last couple of years shooting and promoting films such as Inception, J. Edgar and Django Unchained, Leonardo DiCaprio is ready for a break.
The star, who will be seen later this year in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, tells the German newspaper Bild that he’s staying away from movie sets for a while.
“I’m a bit drained. I’m now going to take a long, long, break,” DiCaprio says, adding, “I’ve done three films in two years and I’m just worn out.”
DiCaprio will also been seen later this year in the movie The Wolf of Wall Street.
The 38-year-old star says he’d like to spend his downtime flying around the world “doing good for the environment.” DiCaprio is an active environmentalist who drives an electric car and powers his home with solar panels.
