(REXBURG) – Madison School District Superintendent Geoffrey Thomas has been named to a bipartisan state education task force.
Thomas, along with Teresa Jackman of the Pocatello School District, will work with the 30-member group to assess Idaho’s education system and explore options for reform.
Local News 8 reports Thomas would like to see a restoration of base salaries for teachers and more authority given to local school boards.
Thomas is one of five administrators named to the group.
