Man Accused of Attacking Father While Driving

(POCATELLO) – A Pocatello man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly attacked his father while they were driving.
Joseph John Currier, 28, is accused of punching his father in the face several times, causing them to swerve into oncoming traffic. Authorities say the incident occurred along South 5th Avenue near I-15.
Currier was already on probation for multiple convictions on battery and domestic violence charges. Currier was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the assault.
He remains in the Bannock County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
