The celebrity chef and The Chew co-host crafted a personal tribute to the big game using what he knows best: Italian meats, bread and cheese.

“So excited for #harbowl that i got started on food a little early!! Wheeee!!!” the celebrity chef tweeted Thursday, with a photo of the living room diorama, decorated to the nines for a Super Bowl party, and made entirely out food, of course.

The scrumptious scene is a collaboration between Batali and food stylish Kristin Ruane. The duo made the couch out of bread, wrapped in prosciutto di parma.  No detail was overlooked: from the shag carpet made of beets, to the pillows, which are fried ravioli, to the block-of-cheese side tables, and the lamp, made out of martini olives with a goat cheese base.  Even Batali’s signature orange crocs, carved out of carrots, made it into the Super Bowl scene in the bottom right-hand corner.

Batali unveiled his crafty diorama on ABC’s The Chew Thursday to much fanfare from his co-hosts, Clinton Kelly, Michael Symon, Carla Hall and Daphne Oz. No word on whether Batali intends on eating it, but according to ESPN, he’s hosting a party for the big game and rooting for the Baltimore Ravens.
