No. 3 Arizona Holds Off Utah 60-57
Published at(TUCSON, AZ) — Solomon Hill had 19 points to lead the No. 3 Arizona Wildcats to a 60-57 win over Utah on Saturday afternoon.
Mark Lyons hit two big free throws with seven seconds left to keep Arizona (14-0, 2-0 PAC 12) undefeated.
It was the second close game in a row for the Wildcats, who needed help from a disputed call by the officials to win their last game.
This one also came down to the wire, as Jarred DuBois’ last-second three-pointer bounced off the top of the backboard at the buzzer.
Jason Washburn led Utah (8-6, 0-2) with 17 points and 11 rebounds, but the Utes have not won a road or neutral-court conference game since joining the Pac 12 Last season.
