Packers Ready for Vikings on Saturday

Tom Lynn /Getty Images(NEW YORK) — The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings will meet for the third time this season on Saturday night in the NFC Wild Card round.
The Vikings are coming off a last second game winning field goal by Blair Walsh, which punched the Vikings ticket in against Green Bay in Week 17 and now the two will face each other for the final time at Lambeau Field.
“Single elimination there’s 12 teams still playing, we have a chance to move onto the final eight,” said Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “We’ve got a home game which is our first goal when we start the season. We can take the first step [toward the Super Bowl] with a win this week.”
The Vikings were 3-5 on the road in 2012 and Green Bay got the best of Minnesota in Week 13 at home with a 23-14 victory.
“Both sides are going to be very familiar with each other,” said Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder. “We should expect some different wrinkles.”
