GETTY E 011112 PeoplesChoiceAwards? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1357727757459Todd Williamson/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — The people’s voice will be heard Wednesday night.  That’s when CBS will air the People’s Choice Awards 2013 ceremony, hosted by The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco.

Organizers say more than 400 million votes have been cast for this year’s show.  Marvel’s The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises have several nominations in the film categories, while the TV contenders include Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother.

Sandra Bullock has already been named the recipient of the “Favorite Humanitarian” award, thanks to her dedication to New Orleans’ Warren Easton High School, which she’s helped rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  She’s given scholarships to graduating seniors and provided band uniforms and athletic equipment.

You can still vote on a few of the categories, including favorite new TV comedy and favorite movie fan following, until showtime.  Check out the official website, PeoplesChoice.com/pca/vote, for more info.

Jennifer Aniston, Ellen DeGeneres, Robert Downey Jr., Jennifer Lawrence, Marisa Tomei, and British boy band The Wanted are among the celebrities expected to attend the show.  Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and Jason Aldean will perform during the two-hour telecast, which begins at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
