(SHELLEY, ID) — More than 1,400 Rocky Mountain Power customers in Idaho Falls and Shelley were without electricity Tuesday afternoon. A car accident reportedly caused the initial outage, which knocked out power to only a few hundred customers. However, crews had to cut off power to hundreds of others in order to safely make repairs. Officials say power was restored to most homes by 6 p.m.
