Mitch Ross, owner of Sports with Alternative to Steroids, told SI that Lewis reached out to his company in hopes of securing the spray, whose use is prohibited under NFL’s drug policy.

The 13-time Pro Bowler dismissed the allegations during Super Bowl Media Day Tuesday.

“Two years ago, that was the same report,” he said. “I wouldn’t give that report or him any of my press.”

Lewis announced before the playoffs that he will retire at the end of the season.
