(NEW YORK) — According to a report by the Miami New Times, records from an anti-aging clinic in Miami list the names of prominent Major League Baseball players and detail performance-enhancing drugs allegedly adminstered to them.
The names on the list include New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, who has been tied to PEDs before. Also on the list are Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera, Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz and Nationals hurler Gio Gonzalez, among many others.
The Miami New Times received the list of names from an employee who worked at Biogenesis of America before it closed last month. They reported that records show that the firm sold PEDs, including anabolic steroids, testesterone, and human growth hormone (HGH).
Anthony Bosch, the head of this clinic, had been previously linked to Manny Ramirez in 2009, when the latter was suspended 50 games by MLB for violating its drug policy.
