(NEW YORK) — Cameron Douglas, the former DJ-turned-convicted drug dealer son of Oscar winner Michael Douglas, reportedly can’t keep his nose clean behind bars. The New York Post reports he was busted earlier this month for failing a prison drug test.
The newspaper says Cameron was placed in solitary confinement when a urine test betrayed the presence of drugs.
The 34-year-old is serving a 10-year federal sentence at a lockup in Loretto, Pa. While his original conviction for dealing drugs was reduced because he reportedly tattled against others in the trade, more than four years were added to Cameron’s sentence when he was found to have tried to sneak more drugs into the prison in 2010.
Cameron was recently beaten up in prison, allegedly because of a bounty from a crime boss who didn’t take too kindly to Cameron’s cooperation with authorities.
