Rexburg City Hears Complaints from Residents on Snow Removal
Published at | Updated at(REXBURG, ID) — The city of Rexburg has received plenty of complaints about icy road conditions in the past few weeks. Local News 8 reports that the city typically sends out its fleet of snow plows once the city gets two inches of snow. However, when the snow keeps falling, crews have trouble keeping up and roads become dangerously slick. Public Works Director John Millar says a citywide plow takes about 10 hours. He also says spreading salt on city streets is done on a limited basis because of the risk of corrosion on vehicles.
