San Diego Chargers Hire Tom Telesco As General Manager
Published at(SAN DIEGO) — The San Diego Chargers named Indianapolis Colts vice president of football operations Tom Telesco their new general manager on Wednesday, replacing the fired A.J. Smith.
The 40-year-old Telesco spent the previous 15 seasons with the Colts, serving in various roles during his tenure. This past year, he assisted new general manager Ryan Grigson in developing a roster that went 11-5 and clinched a wild-card berth after finishing the previous year 2-14.
San Diego is also in the market for a new head coach after firing Norv Turner.
