Sources: Eagles Interviewed Brian Billick for Head Coaching Position
Published at(PHILADELPHIA) — The Philadelphia Eagles are leaving no stone unturned while searching for their next head coach.
According to NFL sources, the Eagles interviewed former Baltimore Ravens coach Brian Billick last Monday for their head coaching vacancy.
Billick coached the Ravens for nine seasons, leading them to their only Super Bowl championship in 2000.
He compiled an 80-64 record in nine seasons in Baltimore, including a 5-11 record in 2007, which was the last time Billick coached in the NFL.
Sources say the Eagles are also considering Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians for the job.
The Eagles fired longtime head coach Andy Reid after a 4-12 season.
