(BOISE) – Gov. Butch Otter and state Controller Brandon Woolf have announced the creation of a new website promoting government transparency.
Officials say they wanted to make it easier for citizens to find details about government finances at the state level. Idaho is the latest of several states implementing similar programs.
Woolf says the information on the website will be updated regularly to provide a day-to-day snapshot of government spending.
