State Supreme Court Rules Against ISU Professor
Published at | Updated at(POCATELLO, ID) — The state Supreme Court has ruled against a former Idaho State University professor’s claim that he was wrongfully terminated. Habib Sadid, a former tenured engineering faculty member, was fired after he spoke out against ISU administrators on multiple occasions. Sadid claimed he was only exercising his freedom of speech by being critical of some administrative policies. The court ruled that Sadid’s actions while still employed by the school were not protected under the First Amendment.
