(NEW YORK) — You can now mark April 19 on your calendar as the day you can catch the long-awaited Steve Jobs biopic jOBS in theaters. And if you’re a true Apple fan, you might already have that day marked in your datebook, as it also happens to be that April 19 is the 37th anniversary of the founding of Apple Computer.
The movie stars Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs and chronicles the Apple founder’s life from 1971 to 2000, focusing on the major milestones and characters that influenced him. Josh Gad plays Steve Wozniak, and Dermot Mulroney and Matthew Modine also star alongside Kutcher.
The movie, which is being released by Open Road Films and Five Star Feature Films, also premieres this Friday at Sundance.
Another Jobs biopic, written by Aaron Sorkin, is also in the works.
