Diggs, 42, apprehended a man who allegedly tried to rob his Studio City, Calif., home Sunday after he returned from the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Diggs held the suspect until authorities arrived, police said.

Hassan Juma, 20, was arrested Sunday evening and charged with burglary, LAPD Officer Alex Martinez told ABC News. There was also a getaway driver, who drove off before authorities could apprehend him.

“The actor was not hurt,” Martinez said.

Diggs’ publicist has not responded to a request for comment.

Juma is being held on $50,000 bail in Los Angeles pending a court date. Police said they had no additional information on the suspect.
