Sean’s romantic adventures began when he and Sarah — a 26-year-old advertising executive from Los Angeles who was born with one arm — enjoyed a helicopter ride to the roof of a tall building. There, they attached themselves to some harnesses and jumped off the building, with supervision from professionals, of course.

After their exhilarating leap, Sean and Sarah shared wine as she revealed the challenges she’s faced with her disability. She received a rose at the end of the date.

Sean’s second one-on-one date was with Desiree, a 26-year-old bridal stylist from Los Angeles. He took her to an art exhibit, where he pulled a prank in which she was falsely blamed for destroying a million-dollar piece of art. She laughed it off, and following dinner and some conversation by the pool, she too was given a rose.

Thirteen of the other women were taken on a group date, involving a photo shoot for the Harlequin romance book publisher. Later, Kacie B. — the contestant from Ben Flajnik’s Bachelor season who made a surprise return on last week’s premiere — earned a rose.

Two bachelorettes were eliminated during the rose ceremony: Brooke and Diana. Seventeen women remain in the competition.

Sean made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after the installment aired, in which he admitted it was difficult to keep all the hopefuls’ names straight, and also starred in a sketch that purported he had to pick his own roses for the show.

The Bachelor continues next Monday night on ABC.
