(NEW YORK) — There will be lots of laughter at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City this Saturday, for a good cause.
The venue will host the comedy benefit “Garden of Laughs,” featuring Wanda Sykes, Ray Romano, Darrell Hammond, Robert Klein and other comics. The event will raise money for MSG’s Garden of Dreams Foundation, which helps kids who are facing obstacles such as illness.
Sykes says she is happy to perform for charity. She jokes, “It really is nice that you can be able to use your gift to help people. And it also it saves you from writing a big-ass check to, you know, ‘I’ll give you my gift of laughter. Here you go.'”
