The Warriors (28-17) were without leading scorer Stephen Curry, forward Harrison Barnes, and Andrew Bogut, due to ankle and knee injuries. They also were missing Carl Landry, one of their best bench players, because of a shoulder injury.

Despite all the injuries, the Warriors held their ground shooting 54 percent from the field.

Warriors point guard Jarrett Jack had a double-double with 26 points and 12 assists.

The Cavaliers (13-33) had their three game win streak snapped. They were looking to win four in a row for the first time since LeBron James left for the Miami Heat.
