Beal hit a jumpshot with 0.3 seconds left and the Washington Wizards defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 101-99 on Monday night.

The Wizards had taken a 99-94 lead, but Serge Ibaka had a basket and Kevin Durant had a three-pointer to tie the game with 36 seconds left before Beal hit his shot.

The Wizards (5-28) forced the Thunder into 16 straight misses between the third and fourth quarter to get back in the game.

Kevin Durant had 29 points, seven rebound and eight assists for the Thunder (26-8).

Washington won despite having only nine players available while Nene and Jordan Crawford had injuries to add to the list of Wizards unavailable.

The Wizards had five players in double figures, including 22 from Martell Webster. Beal finished with 22 as well.
