WYDOT Plans Improvements on Teton Pass
Published at(JACKSON, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation has announced plans to make Teton Pass a little safer for truck drivers.
Local News 8 reports two arrester systems will be installed on the east side of the pass near Wilson. The systems will feature a series of nets designed to catch runaway trucks.
Still, budgeting issues have kept the project delayed until 2017. Officials expect the project will cost about $3 million.
