(CHEYENNE, WY)  —   Wyoming lawmakers are considering a bill that would make it clear that public schools have the right to teach classes about the Bible.  The measure’s proponents say it would make high school classes on the Bible available as electives, though the classes can’t be used for devotional purposes, and wouldn’t advocate for or against any religion. They say the bill would reassure teachers and administrators that they have the right to teach such classes.
