Oladipo scored 19 points to lead the top-ranked Hoosiers past fourth-ranked Michigan State, 72-68 on Tuesday night.

“There’s no doubt his foot hurt,” Indiana coach Tom Crean said. “That mind was right, and that was the biggest thing.”

The Hoosiers (24-3) won in East Lansing for the first time since 1991, and moved a game ahead of Michigan State for the top spot in the Big 10.

Michigan State (22-5) was down three with 3.7 seconds left when Gary Harris was fouled attempting a three pointer. However, Harris made missed and Oladipo snagged the rebound from the third attempt that missed on purpose and hit two free throws to seal the win.

“We were right there,” Harris said. “And, we could’ve won.”
