(NEW YORK) — After being cut by the New York Giants last week, running back Ahmad Bradshaw would still be open to returning to Big Blue.
New York dumped Bradshaw to get out from under his current salary, despite Bradshaw ranking sixth on the team’s career rushing list with 4,232 yards.
When asked why the team fell short of defending their Super Bowl title this past season, Bradshaw said on the NFL Network Wednesday, “Everybody seemed to think the season would come together in one game. We didn’t have the chemistry we had the year before.
“…We didn’t play together, take advantage of the opportunities we had,” he added. “Everyone thought the games would just be handed to us. It was a tough season.”
Bradshaw also said he would not rule out playing for the New York Jets.
