(LOS ANGELES) — Mark Balelo, star of A&E’s Storage Wars, took his own life, California’s Ventura County Coroner’s Office has confirmed.
The 40-year-old died of carbon monoxide poisoning, and his death has been ruled a suicide, reports E! News.
Balelo was found at his auction house in Simi Valley, Calif., on Monday. His body was in his car and the motor was running.
He had been arrested on Saturday on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. He was held in jail overnight and released on Sunday.
The A&E network released a statement to E!, saying, “We are deeply saddened by this tragedy and our thoughts are with Mark’s family.”
