(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — Bidding has started for sub-contracting jobs that will build a new addition onto the 3B Juvenile Detention Center in Idaho Falls. Ormond Builders will manage the project, but sub-contractors from around the region are being asked to submit their bids. Commissioner Roger Christensen says he wants the work to be done by local individuals in order to ensure that the money will go back into the community. Officials hope to get started on the project when the weather improves.
