He was also ordered Monday to attend three Alcoholics Anonymous classes a week and complete an 18-month alcohol treatment program.

Brown’s arrest Oct. 24 marked his second in a year. His first DUI arrest was in March 2012.

The 44-year-old R&B singer was sentenced to a 10-day sentence for drunk driving, another 10 days for driving on a suspended license and 35 days for violating his probation on his prior DUI.

Brown must report to jail by March 20.

He has long struggled with alcohol and drug abuse. He was also charged with a DUI in Florida in 1996.

Brown wed girlfriend Alicia Etheridge in Honolulu last June. Prior to their engagement in May 2010, Brown and Etheridge dated for three years following Brown’s split with Whitney Houston in 2007. The couple has one child, Cassius, born in 2009.
