Bonneville Teachers Getting Pay-for-Performance Bonuses
Published at(AMMON, ID) — Bonneville School District 93 has voted to give pay-for-performance bonuses to a small number of teachers who worked last year but were unable to finish the school year because of illnesses. The bonus will be allotted based on the average compensation awarded to other teachers in the district. Idaho voters rejected Superintendent Tom Luna’s “Students Come First” reforms last November, which included pay-for-performance measures, though bonuses were still given to teachers working in well-performing schools during the 2012 school year.
