Driggs Restaurants Seeking More Liquor Licenses
Published at(DRIGGS, ID) — Restaurant owners in Driggs are looking for ways to expand their selection of alcoholic beverages. Of the 19 restaurants in the resort-town, only two are allowed to sell hard liquor. State law allows one liquor license in each town for every 1,500 people. A new bill being proposed in the state legislature would make an exception for resort communities like Driggs and Sun Valley. Owners say they’d like to see more liquor licenses in order to make Driggs more appealing to visitors as an alternative to Jackson Hole.
