Former Idaho Falls Attorney is Exonerated

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — Following a month’s long independent investigation by Special Prosecutor Mr. Jay Rosenthal, former Idaho Falls City Attorney Dale Storer has been cleared of any criminal charges. The allegations of overbilling to the City arose last September and triggered the appointment of Mr. Rosenthal to thoroughly investigate the issue. With the help of a former FBI Lead Investigator and forensic accountant, the investigation has been concluded and found that no criminal activity took place. The investigation, which examined billing records from as far back as the early 1980s uncovered no unusual billing activity and that the City in fact owed Mr. Storer nearly $4,000.
