(IDAHO FALL, ID) — The 3-B juvenile detention center in Idaho Falls is getting an expansion. Officials are expected to break ground on the 1,000-square-foot expansion later this month. The expansion will include additional office space for staff and a conference room, which can also be utilized for face-to-face counseling sessions. The project is expected to cost around $211,000, which will be paid through fees used to house juvenile offenders from around the state.
