Lakers Clip Suns

(LOS ANGELES) — Kobe Bryant had one of the strangest games of his career, but the Lakers got a win.
The Lakers got only four points from Bryant but defeated the Phoenix Suns, 91-85 on Tuesday at the Staples Center.
Bryant shot 1-of-8 with eight turnovers, and did not attempt a shot in the first half. However, his teammates picked him up, and Dwight Howard had 19 points and 18 rebounds for the Lakers (25-28), who played their first game at home after their longest road trip of the season.
“Obviously, scoring four points, going 1 for 8, that’s not necessarily a recipe for success. But it’s not about us as individuals. It’s about what we can do to help the team,” Bryant said.
Phoenix (17-36) was led by Jermaine O’Neal, who had 12 points and 13 rebounds.
