(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A Rigby man was arrested in Idaho Falls Monday after he allegedly stole copper pipe from Bundy Plumbing.

Copper is a hot commodity these days, especially for would-be thieves hoping to make a quick buck. 40-year-old Michael Fox was seen burglarizing construction trailers, then speeding away in a pickup. Deputies were able to get a description of Fox’s vehicle and tracked him down along Woodruff in Idaho Falls later that day. Officials say Fox took $6,000 to $10,000 in copper pipe, none of which has been recovered
