Pocatello Crews Respond to Hotel Fire

(POCATELLO, ID)  —  The Best Western CottonTree Inn in Pocatello was evacuated Wednesday after a fire was reported in one of the hotel’s rooms. Authorities say the blaze was isolated to a single room on the second floor, and was discovered by a maid who opened the door and saw black smoke filling the room. Fire crews were able to put out the flames within a half hour. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been released.
