Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen Split

The Midnight in Paris co-stars started dating after they finished filming the Woody Allen film in October 2010, but couldn’t make it work, US Weekly reports.
In happier times last year, McAdams, 34, told The Sunday Telegraph‘s Stella magazine that “Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart — we rack up a lot of air miles — but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not.”
McAdams told Glamour magazine that she fell in love with Sheen, 44, after they wrapped the Allen film because, “A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don’t think it’s very conducive; it’s too distracting.”
“Every relationship I’ve had with a co-worker has come after the fact, because you wind up actually spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie,” she explained.
Previously, McAdams dated and was briefly engaged to her Notebook costar Ryan Gosling. Sheen had an eight-year relationship with Kate Beckinsale, which resulted in the birth of a now teenage daughter, Lily.
