(MILWAUKEE) — Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun’s name appears in three of Biogenesis clinic records, according to Yahoo! Sports.
The clinic has been alleged to have distributed performance-enhancing drugs to several Major League Baseball players, including New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, according to an article in the Miami New Times last week.
The records obtained by Yahoo! Sports shows Braun’s name comes up three different times, but there is no specific PED listed next to his name.
MLB says they will investigate the alleged link to the 2011 National League Most Valuable Player.
The 29-year-old Braun was suspended for 50 games by Major League Baseball for testing positive for illegal synthetic testosterone during the 2011 postseason. That banned was later overturned after the handling of the sample was called into question.
