The Rockets tied an NBA record and set a franchise mark with 23 made three-pointers in a 140-109 thrashing of the Golden State Warriors.

Jeremy Lin made five of those three-pointers for the Rockets (27-23), while James Harden and Chandler Parsons made four each.

Little-used Dontas Motiejunas hit the record-tying three in the fourth quarter that left fans chanting for just one more make from long range.

The Rockets had one last chance at NBA history before the Warriors intentionally fouled Patrick Beverly with 34 seconds remaining, drawing some ire from players and fans alike.

David Lee led the Warriors (30-18) with 18 points and seven rebounds.
