(CHEYENNE, WY)  —  The upcoming sequester could cost National Guardsmen in Wyoming millions of dollars every year if defense spending is cut. The Department of Defense announced an estimated 800,000 furloughs if the cuts aren’t averted by March 1. That would affect more than 700 jobs at Warren Air Force Base near Cheyenne. Officials say 700 military technicians would lose about $8,000 in pay every year.
