Soda Springs Police Make Record-Shattering Drug Bust

(SODA SPRINGS, ID)  — The Soda Springs Police Department made its biggest marijuana drug bust in history last week. A Washington state man reportedly failed to signal a turn, which prompted police to pull him over Friday night. When the officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, he found 41 pounds of marijuana stuffed into dozens of plastic bags. Officials estimate the street value of the drugs to be around $100,000. The suspect, Brian Eng, remains in the Caribou County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
