(BOISE, ID)  —  Idaho lawmakers are looking at a bill aimed at creating tougher punishments for individuals convicted of trafficking underage prostitutes. Current laws only punish offenders that are over three years older than their victims with misdemeanors. The measure would make it a felony to traffic anyone under the age of 18. Those convicted would also be required to register as sex offenders.
