And on the first play of the second half, Ravens star Jacoby Jones decided he wouldn’t take a knee in the end zone; instead he ran 108 yards for a touchdown, and won some lucky Baltimore shoppers hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of free furniture in the process.

“I was happy for the Ravens and I was happy for all of our customers,” Gardiners president Gary Mullaney told ABC News Radio on Monday, adding, however, that he never thought he would actually have to pay up.

“The likelihood seems to be getting less and less because kickers have gotten so much better,” he said, “but the timing was right and all the stars aligned.”

The store did take out an insurance policy just in case, and it’s a good thing. This morning Gardiners is out $600,000 worth of furniture.
