Train Hits Car in Blackfoot

(BLACKFOOT, ID) — A train struck a vehicle in Blackfoot Tuesday night. Officials say the accident happened at around 7:30 p.m. just off of Collins Road near Basic American Foods. No one was in the vehicle at the time and no injuries were reported. Initial reports indicated that the car may have stalled on the railroad tracks. An investigation is ongoing.
