(WENDELL, ID) — A south central Idaho teen was arrested Wednesday after he fired a BB gun at classmates. Officials say the 17-year-old began firing off the weapon in the Wendell High School parking lot during the lunch hour. No one was injured and police were able to subdue the teen without incident. An investigation revealed that the shooter had also brought the gun to school last week, but administrators weren’t notified. The teen will likely be expelled due to the district’s “no tolerance” policy for firearms.
