(NEW YORK) — Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman made her debut on ABC’s Dancing with The Stars Monday night and guess who was watching? Her fellow U.S. gymnastics teammate, Gabby Douglas.
So what did Douglas think?
“I think she was fabulous and I think she’ll improve with more rehearsals and more dance lessons,” she told ABC News Radio.
Douglas said she’s “really proud” and supportive of Raisman because it’s “something she really wanted to do.”
On Monday’s DWTS premiere, Raisman and her pro partner, Mark Ballas, performed a flirty cha cha cha that all three judges liked. She received a total score of 21 out of a possible 30.
Douglas said she has no plans to do Dancing with the Stars because she’ll be busy training for the next Olympics.
