bomb threat

(AMERICAN FALLS, ID)  — Students and staff at American Falls High School will have a closed campus today in response to a bomb threat.  The Power County Sheriff’s Office says that the threat came Thursday and is supposed to be carried out some time today. Classes are not cancelled, though students are not allowed to leave campus for the entire school day. Crews will inspect books and backpacks, as well as the school parking lot to ensure that everyone is safe. Officials say it’s likely that the threat is just a hoax, but a $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
