Chuy Bravo, a sidekick to Chelsea Handler on her E! late-night show, has dropped out of Splash after suffering an injury on the set during the first day of taping, according to TMZ.com.

Bravo on Monday reportedly jumped up on a table near a pool, causing it to break.  He fell and fractured his heel bone, rendering him unable to dive.

TMZ.com reports Bravo has already been replaced by USA women’s soccer star Brandi Chastain, who memorably ripped off her shirt, revealing her sports bra, when her team won the 1999 women’s World Cup.

Splash — also featuring comedian Louie Anderson, former Baywatch actress Nicole Eggert and ex-Cosby Show star Keshia Knight Pulliam, among others — debuts on ABC next Tuesday night.
