(POCATELLO, ID) – A Pocatello boy is recovering after being hit by a car on his way to school. Police say the 10-year-old was struck in the crosswalk at Elm and Hyde near Greenacres Elementary just before 8 a.m. Wednesday. A witness reported seeing a woman speed through the intersection and hit the child, who suffered a broken leg. Volunteers diverted traffic for around a half hour while officials secured the scene. The names of the driver and the victim have not been released
